Job Title

Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist

Location

Louisville, KY | EP Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM | No weekends | Holidays based on unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor all EP cases across a 3-lab electrophysiology department
• Provide care for cardiac and transplant patient populations
• Operate and utilize unit-specific equipment including Philips, Siemens, St. Jude, and Stereotaxis systems
• Document patient care and procedures using Cerner EMR
• Float to the Cath Lab as needed to support departmental operations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, NPs, fellows, intensivists, and hospitalists

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of electrophysiology (EP) experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Proficiency in scrubbing and monitoring EP cases

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT certification preferred over RCIS
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and McKesson monitoring systems
• Experience working with cardiac and transplant patient populations
• Prior experience floating to or working in a Cath Lab setting
