Job Title

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Location

Templeton, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (1900–0730) | Expected 36 hours/week | Rotating Shifts | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting using the LDRP model
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care in accordance with established Standards of Nursing Practice
• Promote cooperation and communication among the interdisciplinary health care team, including patients, families, and physicians
• Maintain current professional licenses and certifications as required by state or facility mandate
• Actively participate in shared governance committees and initiatives that promote positive guest relations
• Adhere to all applicable professional, regulatory, and facility policies and procedures while conducting all duties with the highest ethical standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor — required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor — required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor — required
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification — required on hire and every two years thereafter

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working within the LDRP care model
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Familiarity with shared governance structures and nursing committee participation
