Job Title

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical/Surgical and Oncology unit with an expected RN-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Perform and assist with procedures including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and medical management
• Utilize remote telemetry equipment and document patient care using Meditech EMR
• Work independently and collaboratively within a small night shift team of 4–6 RNs, depending on census
• Deliver outstanding customer service and patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care Medical/Surgical experience (2 years preferred)
• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado or compact licensure eligibility
• BLS certification (required; candidates without will not be considered)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Mom/baby experience with NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred
• Combined surgical and medical nursing experience
• Excellent customer service skills and an outgoing, can-do attitude
• Independent, confident clinical judgment with the ability to function with limited on-unit support
