Contract | Night Shift (7p–7a) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy community Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department with 27 beds
• Manage a patient ratio of 4:1, with the expectation of up to 5:1 during peak census periods
• Care for a wide variety of emergency presentations including stroke patients in a designated Stroke Center
• Fulfill weekend shift expectations of approximately 5–6 weekend shifts per scheduling period (variable, no set weekends)
• Observe holiday requirements of 1 major and 1 minor holiday per scheduling period
• Wear required facility scrub color: Navy Blue

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required — American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification required — American Heart Association only
• PALS certification required — American Heart Association only
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a combined Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with stroke protocols and stroke center workflows
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced community ER environment
