Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Location

Asheville, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit, maintaining patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Manage and monitor high-risk obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Perform and assist with vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst procedures
• Provide immediate newborn care following delivery
• Utilize Baxter pumps, Philips electronic fetal monitoring, and document in Cerner and Fetal Ink EMR systems
• Float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk obstetric experience required
• Immediate newborn care experience required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BLS and/or ALS certification required
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Circulating experience in the OR/surgical setting
• Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Fetal Ink documentation systems
