Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistant services to patients across the greater Sacramento county area in a home health setting
• Treat a variety of diagnoses including cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions
• Manage a caseload with a productivity goal of approximately 5–6 patients per day
• Travel to patient homes throughout the greater Sacramento Home Health service area
• Collaborate with supervising physical therapists and the broader care team to support patient treatment plans

Required Qualifications

• Active PTA license in the state of California
• Ability to work independently in a home health environment with minimal on-site supervision
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for patient home visits throughout the greater Sacramento area
• Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility within the CommonSpirit health system, including CHI and/or Dignity Health, within the past year (candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms may be considered)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a home health setting
• Experience treating cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric patient populations
• New graduates may be considered in select cases
