Job Title

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location

Garden City, KS | Medical Surgical / Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistant services across Medical Surgical and Outpatient settings
• Float between Med Surg and Outpatient therapy units as needed
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist to support patient recovery and functional goals
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA
• Ability and willingness to float between Med Surg and Outpatient units
• Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical hospital setting
• Prior experience in an Outpatient therapy environment
• Travel assignment experience preferred
