Job Title

Travel RN – Postpartum / Mother Baby

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage perineal care for postpartum patients
• Provide education to parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a 23-bed Mother/Baby unit with patient ratios of approximately 3–4:1
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members across floor and nursery settings
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech / CPN EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Postpartum / Mother-Baby RN experience
• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a dedicated Mother/Baby unit
• Flexibility with scheduling and ability to adapt quickly to new environments
• Strong communication skills with staff and providers
• Compassionate, patient demeanor with a team-player mindset
