Job Title

Occupational Therapist (OT) – Travel Contract

Location

Wichita, KS | Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Every other weekend required | Projected Start: 06/29/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments within an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Carry up to a 6-hour treatment load per 8-hour shift, addressing ADL and IADL goals
• Track patient treatment time and charges to ensure each patient meets the required 3-hour daily therapy requirement
• Utilize equipment including ESTIM, patient lifts, ADL equipment, gym equipment, and a full IADL kitchen
• Document and manage patient records using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary therapy team including PT and SLP staff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care occupational therapy experience
• Active Kansas (KS) OT licensure required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the rotating schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Lymphedema certification
• Neuro certification or neuro-based clinical experience
