Job Title

Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location

Sarasota, FL | Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Every other weekend and holidays in rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave, PPM, Impella, and IABP
• Operate and monitor specialized cardiac equipment including Impella and IABP devices
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during procedures and participate in on-call 3-person team coverage for night shift as needed
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with RNs and fellow techs to support a team of 3 per case across 2 active cath labs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with Impella and IABP
• Experience with ventilator management
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with facility staff

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Vascular and/or peripheral intervention experience
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience
