Travel Sleep Tech – Polysomnographer

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: July 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform overnight polysomnographic studies in a 4-bed sleep lab setting, maintaining patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 based on acuity
• Conduct and assist with split-night studies and ASV titrations
• Operate and monitor equipment including Nihon Kohden Polysmith systems and ResMed BiPAP devices
• Document patient data and study findings accurately within the Meditech EMR system
• Work independently during night shift while maintaining strong interpersonal communication with staff and patients
• Perform RPSGT-credentialed scope of practice duties in accordance with unit guidelines

Required Qualifications

• RPSGT Certification (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) — required; candidates without this credential will not be considered
• Minimum 6 months of experience as an EEG Tech or Sleep Tech
• At least 2 years of overall relevant experience
• BLS Certification — required
• Ability to work independently in a night shift environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working at high-altitude locations
• Basic sleep study scoring experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with independent, self-directed work
