Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Full-Time | Permanent | Days & Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver safe, evidence-based care within scope of practice
• Operate under the supervision of nursing department management
• Participate in self-scheduling while maintaining flexibility to accommodate unit staffing needs
• Fulfill every-other weekend requirement, with options to work every Saturday or every Sunday provided half of monthly weekend shifts are covered
• Fulfill every-other holiday requirement, with holidays assigned and rotated annually
• May float to other units within scope of practice as needed

Required Qualifications

• Nursing degree (RN)
• Active RN Compact License or Kansas State RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimal on-call availability required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Professional, driven, and compassionate demeanor — new graduates are welcome to apply
• ACLS and/or PALS certification (may be obtained after hire)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude
