Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Full-Time | Permanent | Days & Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Implement evidence-based nursing interventions and evaluate patient outcomes within scope of practice
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team under the supervision of nursing department management
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage — every-other weekend required
• Fulfill rotating holiday assignments as scheduled and assigned
• May float to other units within scope of practice as needed

Required Qualifications

• Nursing degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing)
• Active RN license — Compact or Kansas state license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to work a flexible self-scheduled rotation, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Minimal on-call availability required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Professional, driven, and compassionate approach to patient care
• ACLS and/or PALS certification (may be obtained after hire)
