Job Title

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location

Syracuse, NY | Inpatient / Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | On-call availability for weekends and holidays required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under general supervision
• Operate imaging equipment including Siemens EVOSPECT cameras, Philips Forte camera, and NMIS in the hot lab
• Utilize EPIC for patient registration and medical records, and Synapse PACS for imaging
• Provide weekend and holiday on-call coverage as required
• May take individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees

Required Qualifications

• NYS license/registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine, or board eligible
• CPR certification required
• Availability for weekend and holiday on-call coverage

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CT certification preferred in anticipation of upcoming SPECT/CT scanner installation
• Prior experience with EPIC electronic health records and Synapse PACS
• Experience training or leading other imaging staff
