Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Travel

Location

Salinas, CA | Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Onsite | Preferred schedule: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans for short-term and long-term residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team to support coordinated, patient-centered care
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and applicable regulatory standards
• Complete thorough and timely clinical documentation in Net Health per facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in the state of California
• Strong documentation and time-management skills
• Flexible and collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt in a large, dynamic facility environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
• Candidates with 0–1 year of experience are welcome to apply — mentorship is available
