Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Contract | Days (0700–1930) | On-Call Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a 7-lab Cardiac Cath Lab environment, primarily serving adult patients
• Perform patient monitoring and administer sedation during cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Utilize Cerner EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, McKesson hemodynamic system, and GE/Siemens C-arms
• Participate in on-call coverage, including 1–2 weeknight call shifts per week and 1–2 call weekends per 6-week schedule cycle (0700 Saturday – 0700 Monday), with a 30-minute response time required
• May float to the EP Lab or a sister hospital campus based on departmental need
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, intensivists, hospitalists, NPs, fellows, and charge nurses

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must not be a first-time travel nurse — prior travel experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Greater than 1 year of ICU experience; 2–3 years of Cardiac Step-Down experience may be considered
• RCIS or CI certification preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Experience in EP Lab procedures
