Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a long-term acute care setting
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions and disorders
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, including newly updated equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist licensure in the state of Virginia
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred; CRT considered
• Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule (every other weekend)
• Expected 35 hours per week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term acute care (LTAC) or similar clinical setting
• Familiarity with a wide range of respiratory therapy equipment and modalities
• Strong communication and patient care skills in a multidisciplinary environment
