Job Title

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

Albuquerque, NM

Schedule / Job Type

Full-Time | Permanent | Days | Monday–Friday | No Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct patient care to support functional independence and rehabilitation goals
• Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in New Mexico
• NBCOT certification (COTA) required or eligible
• Ability to work a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no weekend rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior clinical experience in an outpatient or community-based therapy setting
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment
