Job Title

NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract

Austin, TX | NICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a NICU setting, delivering high-quality patient care across night shift hours
• Administer nebulizer treatments and oxygen therapy as ordered
• Manage and monitor ventilators for neonatal and pediatric patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to assess and respond to patient respiratory needs
• Adhere to unit guidelines, dress code requirements (olive green tops and black bottoms), and facility policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a NICU, ICU, or PICU setting strongly preferred
• Proficiency with ventilator management in neonatal and pediatric populations
• Experience with nebulizer treatments and oxygen therapy protocols
