Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, 24/7 emergency department setting
• Assess and triage patients presenting with conditions ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialty teams including cardiology, neuroscience, radiology, anesthesiology, and surgery
• Adhere to facility attendance and scheduling standards; a strict attendance policy is in effect — three instances of unexcused absence or tardiness of more than 20 minutes may result in immediate contract termination
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
• Must reside more than 35 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard contract rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with health system-wide profile and compliance standards
