Job Title

Travel RN – Cardiac Care Unit (CCU)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected Start: November 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Cardiac Care Unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including central line insertion, Swan-Ganz catheter insertion, and intubations
• Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic equipment including PA catheters, IABP, and Impella devices
• Manage and monitor patients utilizing Hill-Rom beds and Philips telemetry systems
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
• Float to other units as needed based on census demands; expected 3–4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Cardiac experience required
• Strong critical care experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with PA catheter management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience with IABP and Impella devices
• Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
• Familiarity with cardiogenic shock patient populations
