Social Worker (LCSW / CSW)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-hour shifts | Friday, Saturday, and every other Thursday | 8:00 PM – 8:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide social work services within an Emergency Department (ED) setting
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop care plans for patients and families
• Coordinate discharge planning and connect patients with appropriate community resources
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
• Document all clinical activity accurately using Epic EMR
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed, per unit assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of social work experience required
• Active LCSW or CSW licensure required (pending licenses not accepted)
• BLS certification required (AHA Traditional only; RQI not accepted)
• Experience in an Emergency Department (ED) setting required
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required
• Must achieve a score of 85% or higher on required competency exams
• No background or license hits — a comprehensive, lifetime background review will be conducted
• Local candidates are welcome; same rates apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Valid state license on file at time of submission preferred
• Experience working in a high-acuity or fast-paced hospital environment
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
