Job Title

Ultrasound Technologist – Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Location

Santa Rosa, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Evening Shift (5x8s, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) | Weekend rotation required; on-call required based on census

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of ultrasound procedures and produce quality diagnostic images
• Process films and prepare accurate records of services performed
• Make adjustments to equipment and report any malfunctioning equipment promptly
• Transport patients to and from the department as needed
• Work efficiently to maintain scheduled patient appointments and accommodate unscheduled patient exams

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ARDMS Registered Medical Sonographer credential required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital setting
• All certifications must be from AHA or ARC with valid expiration dates
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered at a local rate; local candidates are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with echocardiography or cardiology ultrasound procedures
• Familiarity with evening and overnight shift workflows in a hospital environment
• Experience managing both scheduled and unscheduled patient exams in a fast-paced setting
