Travel RN – ICU

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected every other weekend shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care in a 26-bed ICU with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Operate and monitor advanced equipment including mechanical ventilators, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and EKOS
• Assist with or support procedures such as intubation, bedside ECMO cannulation, chest tube insertion, bedside tracheostomy, and central line insertions
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Float to CVIMCU and IMCU as needed
• Maintain ACLS and BCLS certifications throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 1–2 years of ICU experience
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR preferred; willingness to learn required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiovascular ICU (CV ICU) experience
• Neuro ICU experience
• Familiarity with ECMO, IABP, or Impella device management
