Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Albuquerque, NM | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4×10-Hour Shifts | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
• Float between two closely located facilities (approximately 0.2 miles apart) as needed based on facility needs
• Participate in on-call rotation, with an expected 4–5 call shifts per 6-week cycle, including weekends
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative process
• Complete onsite orientation modules as required prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Mexico or a Compact license (pending NM/Compact license accepted; must be obtained prior to start)
• BLS certification required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be accepted
• Previous staff must wait a minimum of 1 year before returning in a travel capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
