Job Title

Registered Nurse – Orthopedic / Neuro Med-Surg

Amarillo, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 or 48 hours/week options available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuro/Orthopedic Medical-Surgical unit
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical notes using Epic
• Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols
• Float to other units as needed per facility requirements
• Work required weekend shifts as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible – local candidates will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Neuro or Orthopedic Med-Surg setting
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
