Job Title

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by a supervising Occupational Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions to support patients in improving daily living and functional skills
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current COTA licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Maryland
• NBCOT certification (COTA) required or eligible
• Ability to work day shift hours

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior clinical experience in an outpatient or physician-based setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
