Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Great Bend, KS | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Full-Time | Permanent | Onsite | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | Rotating holidays | On-call as needed, expected no more than one on-call shift per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor and Delivery setting throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal heart monitoring data, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and emergency interventions as required
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed to support unit staffing and patient care continuity

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing — new graduates welcome
• Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS certification required within the first two weeks of employment
• ACLS certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within six months of employment
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within six months of employment
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required within one year of employment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Labor and Delivery or Women’s Services nursing environment
• Familiarity with fetal heart monitoring interpretation and obstetric emergency protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within a fast-paced clinical setting
