Pharmacy Technician – Clinical Pharmacy – Oncology

Gold Beach, OR

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 8-Hour Shifts | Primarily Monday–Friday with Variable Weekend On-Call Coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Support oncology pharmacy operations within a clinical hospital setting
• Prepare and handle hazardous medications in compliance with USP <800> standards
• Compound chemotherapy and other hazardous medications as required
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists and the oncology care team to support patient treatment workflows
• Operate effectively and independently within a rural healthcare environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license (preferred at time of submission; candidates without may still be reviewed)
• Recent hospital and/or clinical pharmacy experience required
• Experience with USP <800> hazardous drug handling and compounding required
• Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology pharmacy experience in a hospital or infusion center setting
• Experience compounding chemotherapy and other hazardous medications
• Familiarity with pharmacy information systems, EHRs, and compounding software
• Experience supporting chemotherapy treatment workflows
