Job Title

CT Technologist – Travel Contract

Location

Danville, VA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | Monday–Wednesday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures on adult and geriatric patient populations, with occasional pediatric cases
• Operate GE VCT 64-slice and GE Brightspeed 16-slice CT equipment proficiently
• Document and manage patient records using Meditech EHR
• Apply critical thinking skills to support imaging of common diagnoses including PE, stroke, kidney stones, appendicitis, chest pain, abdominal pain, and MVA trauma
• Collaborate as a team player within the Radiology department on the second floor of a 250-bed academic community hospital
• Adhere to facility dress code and comply with random drug screening and criminal background consent requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification required prior to start
• Current CPR certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Strong critical thinking skills and CT imaging competency
• Must consent to random on-site drug screening and complete a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute care or hospital-based CT setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EHR
• Experience with GE CT equipment platforms
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with flexibility to assist during weekend coverage as needed
