Full-Time or Part-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday | 8, 10, and 12-hour shift options available (0630 or 0600 start times) | 32, 36, and 40-hour/week positions available | No weekends | No holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, ENT, GYN, spine, urology, cataracts, and general surgery
• Pull cases, perform terminal cleaning, and set up for surgical cases — no dedicated turnover crew or EVS support in the OR
• Function proficiently as the circulating RN paired with a Surgical Technologist in each OR suite within a 6-suite operating room environment
• Assist with float coverage for breaks and lunches as needed, and support the sterile processing department (SPD) with instrument put-away when required
• Maintain compliance with facility policies including nail length restrictions and prohibition of hand and arm jewelry in the OR
• Document patient care using the Meditech Expanse charting system

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license in the state of Kansas
• ADN or BSN degree required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Orthopedic surgical experience required, with emphasis on total joint replacement and sports medicine (Zimmer and Arthrex systems)
• Ability to scrub and circulate across all surgical specialties performed at the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health records system
• Familiarity with pediatric surgical cases in addition to adult cases
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-efficiency ambulatory or physician-owned surgical environment
• Interest in cross-training into additional OR departments or specialties
