Job Title

MRI Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | 5×8-hour shifts | 13–26 weeks (flexible contract length) | No call, no weekends, no holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI exams including Neuro, Body, and MSK imaging
• Operate Siemens MRI scanners including Vida, Aera, Skyra, and Avanto models
• Ensure image quality and patient safety throughout all scanning procedures
• Adhere to facility compliance requirements, including required assessments completed during orientation
• Maintain active ARRT (MR) certification and AHA BLS throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT (MR) certification required — must be active with nothing pending
• Active AHA BLS certification required — must be active with nothing pending
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in MRI prior to travel
• Must possess a permanent Ohio state license or a compact license (accepted for starts dated 1/1/23 and forward) at time of submission
• Siemens MRI scanner experience required
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in MRI — references must be from assignments worked within the past 12 months
• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required within 12 months of start and must be updated annually (exemption applies to Nurses and CSTs until further notice)
• Local candidates are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across a broad range of MRI exam types including Neuro, Body, and MSK
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with facility compliance processes and pre-start module completion
