Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care based on initial and ongoing patient assessments
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care for assigned patients
- Document care in accordance with standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
- Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and support adoption of innovations in care delivery
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience required
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; ASN required
- Active NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS certification required
- Telemetry Certification or successful completion of Telemetry Competency Exam required
- CEU Contact Stroke — 4 Hours required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BSN degree preferred
