Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Every Other Weekend | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Document patient information and clinical findings accurately using Cerner OneChart EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements, including ceil blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Kansas or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing setting
• Proficiency or ability to work with Cerner OneChart EHR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment
