Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional

Location

Hilo, HI | Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Day shifts with varied times (8- or 10-hour shifts), expected 40 hours/week | Rotating call required, including 1–2 days per week, approximately every 2–3 weekends, and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for patients undergoing IR, vascular, and cardiac procedures including angiography, cardiac cath, pacemaker insertion, and IABP insertion
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Apply specialized skills in hemodynamic monitoring for patients in the interventional setting
• Maintain basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Participate in required call rotation, including weekday, weekend, and holiday call as part of a 4-person call team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR, Sensis monitoring system, and Siemens equipment preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with IR, vascular, and cardiac interventional procedures
• Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring in a cath lab environment
• Working knowledge of CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine imaging modalities
