CT / X-Ray Technologist – Days

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and OR procedures in accordance with department protocols or in coordination with the Radiologist.
• Practice radiation safety and adhere to ALARA standards at all times.
• Verify exam orders, confirm patient identity using two identifiers, review medical history, obtain informed consent, and provide patient education prior to procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR, including procedure and supply charging, and ensure all prior studies and documentation are available for Radiologist interpretation.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with service engineers for external maintenance needs.
• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other imaging modalities, adjusting schedules, and supporting call, overtime, or holiday shifts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or must obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist.
• Cross-training in additional modalities such as CT, MRI, DEXA, or Mammography.
• Experience with electronic health records systems including PACS and RIS/HIS.
