Job Title

Registered Nurse – Endoscopy/GI

Location

Orangeburg, SC | Acute Care Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8s, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Endoscopy/GI setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately every third weekend (Friday 3:00 PM – Monday 6:00 AM), shared among the endoscopy nursing team
• Fulfill weekday on-call responsibilities after 3:00 PM as scheduled and split among the nursing team
• Remain within 30 minutes of the facility during call hours, or stay on-site if needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November), as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy RN experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to meet on-call response expectations
• Candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic charting system
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small specialty nursing team
• Familiarity with on-call responsibilities in a procedural or specialty care environment
