Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (Medical-Surgical ICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | 36 or 48 hours/week options available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic
• Monitor and respond to changes in critically ill patients’ conditions in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain compliance with all facility onboarding requirements, including completion of required modules during on-site orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or Compact) — must be in hand at time of submittal; license hits are not accepted
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Candidates residing in the following Texas counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning in a travel capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
