Registered Nurse – Case Management
Location
Eureka, CA | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days (5×8 Hours, 8:00–16:30) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide case management services within an acute care hospital setting
- Float between like units based on facility need
- Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
- Participate in orientation and complete required modules prior to and during start
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license requiredMinimum of 2 years of case management experience; at least 1 year required
- Acute care experience required
- Must submit all requested time off (RTO) at the time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
- 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; locals within 50 miles may be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Epic EMR
- Experience floating between units or sister facilities
- First-time travelers considered with clinical approval
