Contract | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to post-transplant patients (kidney and liver) on a combined Med/Surg and Stepdown unit, with patient ratios of 5:1 (Med/Surg) and 3:1 (Stepdown)
• Manage lines, drains, nasogastric tubes, antirejection medications, blood products, pain management, and PCA pumps
• Perform continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) and possible gtt titration, including care for overflow urology patients
• Utilize EPIC EMR, Plum 360 IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Philips monitoring systems
• Work independently as a travel nurse when not assigned to orientation support duties; may float occasionally to other Med/Surg or Stepdown units
• Participate in a weekend rotation of approximately 4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling cycle

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (applicable to state of practice)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 3–5 years of RN experience, with some background in a Stepdown or PCU setting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience with post-transplant patients, antirejection medications, blood products, lines, drains, NGTs, PCA pumps, CBI, and gtt titration
• Ability to work independently in a travel nurse capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with EPIC EMR
• Familiarity with Plum 360 IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and CO2 monitoring equipment
• First-time travelers welcome with 3–5 years of qualifying experience
