Job Title

Travel – Registered Nurse, PCU / Progressive Care Unit

Lewisville, TX | Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Step-Down unit setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in patient status
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid and in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; 2+ years strongly preferred
• Experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit setting
• Ability to comply with facility dress code standards, including: no artificial, gel, or next-gen nails; neat and professional hair; covered body art; no visible piercings beyond ears

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of PCU / Progressive Care / Step-Down nursing experience
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records documentation
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and management of intermediate-acuity patients
