Telemetry Registered Nurse

Contract | Night Shift | Full-Time | Onsite | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and measurable outcomes
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, coordinating care delivery across disciplines
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide care in a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide health education to patients and families
• Supervise and delegate duties to healthcare team members, applying critical thinking and independent professional judgment; ability to float to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Minimum of two years of recent Telemetry or acute care nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience in a Magnet-designated facility
• Background in cardiology or cardiac monitoring within an acute care setting
