Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry / ED Hold

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry and ED Hold setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate safe, timely throughput
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document all patient care activities in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Telemetry or a related acute care setting
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required or may be required per facility standards
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an ED Hold or observation unit environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care settings
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills in fast-paced clinical environments
