Job Title

Registered Nurse – Rehabilitation (Travel Contract)

Brownsburg, IN | Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Weekend hours required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury in a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
• Deliver individualized, intensive rehabilitation-focused nursing care tailored to each patient’s recovery goals
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, ensuring safe and effective care across assigned caseload
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and progress accurately using Epic EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams to support comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Indiana (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience in a rehabilitation or acute care nursing setting
• Proficiency with Epic EHR
• Availability for day shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) including weekend hours

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting
• Familiarity with rehabilitation diagnoses including stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic conditions
• Experience working with adult patient populations in a high-acuity rehabilitation environment
