Physical Therapist – Acute

Alliance, NE | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 8-hour shifts, 8:00am–5:00pm with one hour lunch (12:00pm–1:00pm) | One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every two months

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Treat a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Manage a caseload consisting primarily of post-surgical and orthopedic patients
• Participate in monthly in-service meetings alongside permanent staff members
• Work with an assigned mentor throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Nebraska
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association
• Reliable personal transportation is required — ride-share services are not available in this area

Preferred Experience / Skills

• New graduates are encouraged to apply and are considered strong candidates for this role
• Experience or coursework in orthopedic or post-surgical rehabilitation
• Comfort working with patients across a wide age range, including pediatric and geriatric populations
