Job Title

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Location

Waldorf, MD

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (14 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Monday – Friday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and functional activities
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility standards
• Maintain valid state PTA licensure and adhere to all facility compliance requirements
• Report patient status updates and any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Must present a valid state or federal issued photo identification upon arrival at the facility
• Must wear a photo badge at all times while on-site

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a contract or registry staffing capacity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
