Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Wichita, KS | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 20-bed Birth Care unit during night shift, supporting a patient ratio of 3–4:1 for postpartum couplets and 1–2:1 for labor patients
• Perform and assist with labor and delivery procedures including inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler monitoring
• Circulate and support C-section procedures in the operative setting
• Utilize unit equipment including Welch Allyn vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC glucose monitoring, and Monica Novii telemetry
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
• Adhere to ICARE standards of behavior as required by facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current experience as a Labor & Delivery RN
• Active RN licensure applicable to the state of Kansas
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Postpartum nursing experience
• High-risk LDR (Labor, Delivery, and Recovery) experience
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to stay productive in a fast-paced environment
