Physical Therapist – Hand Therapy Specialist

Portland, OR | Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5×8 Hours, Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized hand therapy services across two outpatient clinic locations (Portland and Beaverton)
• Perform custom splint fabrication for patients with a variety of hand conditions
• Evaluate and treat patients with complex hand trauma and post-surgical diagnoses
• Document patient care and progress accurately using Epic EMR
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) state license — valid Oregon license preferred at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hand therapy
• BLS certification (AHA Traditional card required; RQI not accepted)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required to submit
• Must achieve a score of 85% or higher on required Relias competency exams
• No new graduates accepted; first-time travelers welcome
• Locals welcome; same rates apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential strongly preferred
• Expert-level proficiency in custom splinting techniques
• Experience managing complex hand trauma and surgical rehabilitation cases
