Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapy Specialist

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 5×8-Hour Shifts, Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational or physical therapy services with a specialization in hand therapy across two clinic locations
• Perform custom splinting for patients with hand and upper extremity conditions
• Evaluate and treat patients with complex hand trauma and post-surgical rehabilitation needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) state license — preferred at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hand therapy
• Expert-level proficiency in custom splinting
• Expert-level experience with complex hand trauma and surgical cases
• BLS certification required — American Heart Association (AHA) Traditional only; RQI not accepted
• Epic EMR experience required
• No background or license hits — a comprehensive, lifetime background review will be conducted
• Local candidates are welcome; same rates apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation strongly preferred
• Experience as a travel therapist; first-time travelers will be considered
• Score of 85% or higher on required Relias competency exams
