Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 17:45–06:15 | Every third weekend required; every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and timely patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility protocols, compliance requirements, and scheduled shift obligations including weekend and holiday rotations

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or a qualifying compact state (must match permanent residence); Missouri license may be submitted pending issuance
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
• Ability to fulfill the full contract term; mid-contract cancellations are not permitted
• Must complete required onboarding modules via WorkRamp prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care emergency setting
